It’s crazy to think that 2022 is already here! It seems like just yesterday was the wild ride of 2020, and then 2021 came and went quickly. And while I’m so excited to start this new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all the amazing brands and business we worked with in 2021. Here is our 2021 product photography year in review:
Some of our client work
Berkley Common
While I love the fact that I can easily work with national brands, working with local brands is so fulfilling to me. Getting to take photos for one of my favorite restaurants, in my local city, was a great experience. If you are in the Metro Detroit area, I highly recommend checking out Berkley Common restaurant.
Bambooware
If you’re someone who loves to stay organized and have a clean aesthetic in your home, I highly recommend checking out Bambooware. I love products that have a tie to nature and the environment, so I was excited to photograph these sustainable home goods. For this product photoshoot, our goal was to keep the scene clean, simple, and use neutral colors. In order to really show the products, we brought in food to use as props.
Dermy Doc Box
Dermy Doc Box is a subscription box, perfect for those who value skincare. Unlike other subscription boxes, each item in the box is hand selected by a dermatologist. Because of this, you know you’re getting expert advice. Each season brings a new box, so it makes it fun to be creative with each product photoshoot. For this product, out photoshoot goal was clean, modern, with elements of winter.
Dr. Peace Lily
This local brand was launching their new product, CBD gummies, and it was fun to take these photos for them. Along with new photos of their product, we created some stop-motion videos for their social media channels.
D’Vine Cookies
One of my favorite products to shoot is desserts, so when this cookie company needed product photography, I was more than excited to help. With so many types of flavors, it was fun to mix in group shots like this photo below. Their brand color is teal, so we wanted to make sure to bring in backdrops and props that included that coloring.
Beachflow
A new brand that launched in 2021, I was excited to create some fun lifestyle images for this new haircare company. With a brand name like Beachflow, we knew that we could be creative with props inspired from the beach. Whenever I can include water or sun into a product photoshoot, I’m happy!
Blooming Beauty Med Spa
Skincare products is another product I love to photograph. This local med spa wanted photos of their products to use for their website and social media. Since the aesthetic of this brand and location is clean and modern, we incorporated that look into their product photography.
Beachly
Did I say I love including water and sun into my product photography? Beachly is one of my favorite brands to work with! Not only do I get to be creative with styling the beach inspired products, but I love to use all the products I receive too. To get this realistic beach shot, we took a drive over to Lake Michigan. Doesn’t it look like an ocean?
Ritual Zero Proof
Another product I’m always excited to get creative with! Ritual Zero proof has a fun, modern, and creative brand, which makes their product photoshoots fun to create.
Coming in 2022
That sums up our 2021 product photography year in review! These are just some of the brands we got to work with, and I can’t wait to see what we create in 2022. It’s too early to say with the year 2022 will bring, but I’m sure it will include more brands, and maybe even some courses! If you’d like so work with me this year, contact me to get a consultation started.
